Messin' With the Template

I have been working on some changes to the old blog. I have really been liking the 3 column look that man blogs have converted to so I thought I would join in the fun. Turns out it is kind of a pain. The thing that is killin' me is trying to get the center section to be centered in between the left and right sidebars. As you can see it is shifted to the left and I cannot fins a way to fix it.

I have also reduced the number of posts on the main page and I am thinking I still need to shorten it some more. My post tend to be image heavy and so they tend to be long. This make the first page very long and stretched out.

I still have some more work to do. If you know anything about these templates take a look at the source code and tell me what I have missed. I would really like to get this centered up.

Take a look at the instructions you used. Specifically the part about the left sidebar. Change the px width to be the same as the right sidebar px width. I couldn't find it in the source code myself. But in the instructions I used, it said something like "this step is for the left sidebar." That should give you a start. Honestly, it doesn't look bad as is to me. But your call, obviously. :)

I agree that it looks good as is. That said, if you are anything like me, you'll break three of four times before you fix it!

A lot of what I do is searching for "how to's" and then trying to read their process and fitting that to my site.

I found that being specific in your searching helps too... like "centering main column in blogger" or something like that.

It's hit or miss, sometimes you find wild solutions and sometimes you can find real simple, easy to implement things.
