Old School Stuff - Necromunda Terrain Part 3

Time for another batch of Necromunda terrain pictures. Turns out Tim took WAY to many pictures of this stuff and I kept them all. Oh well, it is very inspirational stuff so enjoy. Only 3 or so more posts to get all the pics up.

Very nice stuff. Does it cost a lot to get those modular walls? Are they from the current Imperial City set or are they from Necrmunda stuff?

Hah, just read the previous post. Disregard the last question of my previous comment.

Just awesome. No I want to make Necromunda terrain, and get one of those old necromunda box with terrain and buy lot of necromunda miniatures :P ahhhh damn You. Recently i want only things which are very old, no longer in salle and almost impossible to find. Why GW wont rerelease those old necromunda box ? or adeptus arbites ?

Great work on this!

btw where did you get that minigun miniature ? He's not from necromunda right ? or is he ?

The minigun guy and a couple of other in those pictures are old Warzone figures. It became very hard to locate Necromunda stuff after a few years so some of our newer players used what ever stuff they liked. There were whole gangs of Foundry Street Violence, plastic IG conversions, Warzone or just about any of sci-fi stuff.

These posts of Necromunda terrain make me miss the games my friends and I used to play. We never had scenery that nice though!

Wow! That is awesome. I've been working on some ruins myself lately. This post really gives me some motivation to get 'em done. Thank you. :)

Now that would make a great cities of death table.

Ron,

I think this stuff is used way more often for 40K games than it was ever used for Necromunda. I know we played a few 40K games on it and it was fun

Hi, how did you do the flooring on those boards?

Robert said...

@Simonster - The base for each peice is made of masonite with random metal squares and washers glued on to look like access panels and trap doors. The bases were painted with whatever grey spray paint I have around. The metal bits were hand painted rust. Then I dry brushed a couple of different grey shades to add depth. The entirety of each peice is then covered in Minwax PolyShades Tudor stain. This gives everything the grimmy look and really ties the peice together. Hope that helps.
