Ork Buggies

More additions to my 40K Ork army. Here are a couple of Buggies. The first one is just the stock model that has been around for years. I got this one already assembled from a local gamer and just gave it a quick paint job. This model is a little dated.

Next is a custom built Skorcha Buggy. This started life as an old trukk model. The trukk was already assembed as was part of the same deal that got me the buggy. I decided I wanted it to be a Skorcha buggy so it was time for some conversion work. I won't give you details as the model speaks for itself. It was a lot of fun to build and did well in its first game

Love the skorcha buggy! I have tons and tons of old trucks floating around and I've been converting them at a 2/1 ratio to new trucks making a six wheel truck by hacking the entire back end off one and combining it with the front of another. I have a few of the new trucks mixed in for some cool orky variety and I still have like 6 of the old trucks left. I'm going to steal your rocking idea and make some skortcha wagons o' doom out of them I think.

Good painting on both, and love the use of the trukk for the skorcha. Good use of parts.

Aha! so I'm not the only one who turned an old trukk into a skorcha buggy! (think I like yours more than mine though)
