Space Marine Drop Pod

Well, here it is. Done at last. I have to say that it turned out OK I guess but I am not really happy with it. I spent nearly 18 hours on the model and it really does not show. For that much effort this thing should look a lot better. Oh well, it will look good on the table and I plan to try it out later this week.

The second one has to be easier and quicker, right?

I had the task of painting the store display model at GW Maidstone. In the four months I worked there, I never did finish it. I have three at home which I have not quite finished.

It's a very tricky model.

I disagree.... I think it looks great! The paint job is solid and has a gritty, used feel to it. Looks like a model you'd see in a Hollywood movie. Seriously, it's that well done :) Gratz!

I agree with 25mm. I think that it looks great as well. We truly are our own worst critics, as you did an outstanding job.

Looks great, has a "this has dropped before" look to it.

Rob,

I still think you need to do about 6 of these bad boys for your army! Just think after you get done with the last one they will be a snap to assemble! Its just like me & IG tanks, after about 100, they get easy!
