Baleful Realmgates

I picked these up a while back at a gamer garage sale.  They were already assembled.  I did not play AoS during the Realmgate wars times and I don't have any of the background or rules.  I though they looked cool and figured I'd just make my own rules for them.  These might be cool for Frostgrave, if I ever play that game again.  Just a quick paint job.  I forgot to take pictures of the backside which is even cooler.

Warhammer Arcane Ruins

My Finish it February has finished strong with another neglected project completed.  This time we have the Warhammer Arcane Ruins set.  This is an old kit and I am not sure if GW still makes it.  I have had it for many years.  I am not entirely sure how I acquired it but I think this might have been for our Lord of the Rings SBG events and it just never got built.  I assembled and primed this last year but for the last several months it has been sitting on the garage workbench gathering dust.

I think my Finish it February concept has been a success.  I completed 3 old, forgotten projects and make good progress on a 4th.  I also finished one new project at the beginning of the month.  Now I can start on something new with a clear conscience.

May Work in Progress #1

I have been putting many hours of work on my corridor set for Necromunda.  This is from Death Ray Designs and is made to match the wall siloettes on the game boards. I also got the matching door set.  I really thought this would be a quick project but with more than 20 hours assembly and about 6 hours into painting I still have a long way to go

28mm Field Works

I recently completed, well almost completed, a large terrain project for a big Black Powder ACW game my friends and I have planned for February.  We are planning the second day of the Battle of Chancellorsville which requires some field works.  I have built 12 feet of straight along with some angled connectors and 5 gun positions.  My friend Tim did a nice post on how these are actually constructed.

Not only will these be used for ACW they can also be used for many other periods and conflicts.

Flames of War Desert Fort

After months of waiting my local shop got my Desert Fort and the expansion set in.  Earlier this year, when Battlefront announced they were going to do another production run of the desert fort I got really excited.  I missed this the first time around and they have been selling for $120+ on eBay so getting a new on for the retail price could not be missed.  I decided to order this from the shop rather than directly from BF.  I knew this was risky as the shops are generally the last to get anything and any shortages hits them hardest.  In the end it all worked out fine, other than having to wait several months.

This should see some time on the table for early WW2 North Africa battles and also for Arab-Israeli Wars.  I really can't wait for an excuse to use it.

4Ground Rural Farm House

This is the last part of the farm complex and it really is the center piece of the set.  This is Rural Farm House kit number 15S-EAW-115.  I am not sure what else to say so I will let the pictures do the talking.

4Ground Stone Pig Stye & Chicken Coop

What we have here is the most epic stone pig stye/chicken coop building of all time.  This is kit 15S-EAW-116.  This thing is only big enough for a single small stand but has nearly as many parts and steps as the much larger kits.  Certainly your forward observer will be well protected, though stinky, in this solid building.

4Ground Stone Hay Loft with Cart Shed

Building number three in the North West European Farm Complex is 15S-EAW-117 Stone Hay Loft with Cart Shed.  Not much to say that hasn't already been said.  One thing I have notice with these kits is that just because a building is small it does not mean that it is less complex to build or has fewer parts.
