Mortis Engine

When I first jumped into Age of Sigmar, back when the 2nd edition was released, I was really excited by the Nighthaunts.  Before I knew anything about the army I bought a bunch of stuff.  One of the things I bought was the Malignants Start Collecting set.  I mean, this stuff HAD to be part of the army right?  Well the Spirit Hosts were and so were the Hexwraiths, but not the Mortis Engine.  So the coolest part of the set was not usable, damn.  So it sat for a long time.  About 6 months ago I started work on it but it was quickly set aside.  During the lock down I have been focusing on finishing some of the neglected projects.  I am really glad to have this completed.  The random army selection from the General's Handbook 2019 should make this easier to include in the army.  I don't play competitively so I might just take it no matter what.

X-Wing Christmas

Christmas was pretty good on the game front this year.  I received a second starter set of X-Wing as well as several expansions.  In fact, I am missing only the wave one releases now and I plan to fix that next week.  All of this stuff and my original starter set means I can finally get into the game properly.  Next year should see lots of X-Wing on the table.  The family likes this one so I should be able to play it quite a bit.

X-Wing

I have finally decided to take the plunge into this game.  Like most gamers (that I know at least) my age I am huge fan of the original Star Wars films.  When this game first game out I was tempted but managed to talk myself out of jumping in.  I usually like to wait on new games for a while to make sure they are good enough for me to spend my money on.  So far this game really seems to have some legs.  Is everyone playing it?  It sure seems that way.

I really don't have much more to say about this as I just got the game and have never played.  I will have more to say once I know what I am talking about.
