With Gathering in the Desert 2011 happening this weekend it time for me to get this army done. I am taking an all mounted Rohan army and I needed to finish the heroes. Here we have Eomer, a captain and a standard. These are fairly quick paint jobs but they look ok I guess. I was having a hard time getting into this project.
I also finished the dismounted figures. These are a must have for the game as it is very likely the horses will get killed at some point. If you don't have the dismounted figures then the model is removed.
I still have a few more items to finish up before the event. I still need to finish the dismounts for the rest of the army.

Those guys look good, I like the hand painted Horse head, looks like someone is going for extra points on his paint score again!

They look just fine Robert. I too like the freehand horse head on Eomer's shield. Is that an extra Gripping Beast shield or ?
Tom, those are some extra GB shields. I had to remove the center boss and smooth them out a bit. I couldn't find two of the same size.
Oops, I deleted my post by mistake...
Anyway, I was just saying looking good! Its nice to see Rohan making a comeback this year - I'm also bringing an all mounted Rohan army!
